The topography of Himachal includes a high altitude desert, thick deodar forests, apple orchards, cultivated terraces, snow filled lakes, buoyant rivers, and snow capped Himalayan mountain ranges. The dense forests here is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, the vantage points offering breathtaking views are perfect for couples. Himachal is an ideal location for trekk​ing as it has four mountain ranges running parallel, providing scenic trekking venues. These mountain ranges include numerous passes that connect the valleys, which also serve as suitable trekking trails. Owing to the four great mountains, the climate in Himachal can be volatile. However, there few regions that is hot during summers, and cold in winters. Most of the trekking trails in Himachal falls in the areas that perennially cold, hence trekking in Himachal needs rigorous preparation to get acclimatized. The time between June and October is considered to be the best time for trekking in Himachal.

Garhwal & Kumaon Region

Trekking tours in India would be incomplete if you haven’t explored Garhwal and Kumaon region. This region lies in the foothills of the great Himalaya; precisely in Uttarakhand, the northern India.  This region is one of the best places to explore in the Northern part of India.
